These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Travelooms website (www.travelooms.com), and related services (collectively, the "Platform"). Travelooms (Pvt) Ltd ("Travelooms," "we," "us," or "our") operates this Platform to help travelers find and book accommodations easily. 

 

By using Travelooms, you ("User," "you," or "your") agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any other guidelines we mention. If you don’t agree, please don’t use our Platform. 

 

Travelooms connects travelers with different types of accommodations—such as hotels, hostels, resort and cottages, etc.—offered by our partners ("Providers"). When you book through Travelooms, you also agree to follow the specific rules and terms set by the Provider you choose.

 

1. Acceptance of Terms 

  • Agreement: Using the Platform signifies your acceptance of these Terms and any modifications made over time. 
  • Updates: We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect upon posting, and continued use signifies acceptance. Significant updates will be notified via email or notifications. 
  • Scope: These Terms apply to guests, hosts, and partners interacting with the Platform.

 

2. Platform Overview 

  • Purpose: Travelooms is an online marketplace connecting guests with hotels, vacation rentals, and other accommodations ("Properties") offered by hosts or partners. 
  • Role: We facilitate bookings but do not own, operate, or control Properties. Contracts for stays are between you and the Property provider. 

 

3. Eligibility 

  • Age: You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform. 
  • Account: Users must register an account with accurate information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. 

 

4. User Responsibilities 

4.1 Guests 

  • Booking: Provide accurate details (e.g., name, dates, guest count) and comply with Property rules. 
  • Payment: Pay all fees, taxes, and charges as displayed at checkout. 
  • Conduct: Respect Property policies (e.g., no smoking, noise limits). 

4.2 Hosts 

  • Listings: Ensure property descriptions, availability, and pricing are accurate and up-to-date. 
  • Obligations: Honor confirmed bookings, provide agreed services, and maintain Properties in a safe, clean condition. 

4.3 General 

Prohibited Actions: 

  1. 1. Misuse the Platform (e.g., fraud, spam). 
  2. 2. Post false, defamatory, or illegal content. 
  3. 3. Circumvent fees or booking processes.

 

5. Booking and Payment 

5.1 Booking Process 

  • Confirmation: A booking is confirmed once payment is processed and the host accepts (if applicable). 
  • Modifications: Changes are subject to availability and host approval. Additional fees may apply. 

5.2 Pricing 

  • Transparency: Total costs (room rate, service fees, value added taxes) are shown before checkout. 

5.3 Payment 

  • Methods: Credit/debit cards, digital wallets, or other options via secure third-party processors (sslcommerz, bkash, nagad, etc.). 
  • Authorization: You authorize Travelooms to charge your payment method for bookings, fees, or penalties (e.g., cancellations). 

5.4 Service Fees 

  • Guests: A non-refundable fee may apply per booking to cover Platform operations. 

 

6. Cancellations and Refunds 

6.1 Guest Cancellations 

  • Policy: Varies by Property (e.g., flexible, moderate, strict). Check the listing’s cancellation terms before booking. 
  • Process: Submit cancellations via your account. Refunds (if applicable) follow the Property’s policy. 

6.2 Host Cancellations 

  • Penalties: Hosts who cancel confirmed bookings may incur fees or account restrictions. 
  • Assistance: Travelooms may help guests find alternative accommodations. 

6.3 Force Majeure 

  • Events: Natural disasters, government restrictions, or other unforeseeable events may trigger refunds or credits (at Travelooms’ discretion). 

 

7. User Content 

  • Ownership: You retain rights to reviews, photos, or other content you submit.
  • License: You grant Travelooms a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, display, and distribute your content on the Platform and our social media. 
  • Standards: Content must not be illegal, offensive, or infringe on others’ rights. We may remove non-compliant content. 

 

8. Intellectual Property 

  • Ownership: The Platform, including its design, logos, and code, is owned by Travelooms (Pvt) Ltd and protected by copyright and trademark laws. 
  • Use: You may not copy, modify, or distribute Platform content without permission. 

 

9. Liability and Disclaimers 

9.1 Limitation of Liability 

  • Scope: Travelooms is not liable for damages arising from Property stays, user interactions, or Platform interruptions (to the fullest extent permitted by law). 
  • Cap: Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months. 

9.2 Disclaimers 

  • As-Is: The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of accuracy, availability, or fitness for purpose. 
  • Third Parties: We are not responsible for Property conditions, host actions, or external links. 

 

10. Termination 

  • By You: Close your account anytime via settings or email us ([email protected]
  • By Us: We may suspend or terminate your access for violating these Terms, fraud, or legal reasons, with notice where feasible. 

 

11. Miscellaneous 

  • Entire Agreement: These Terms, alongside the Privacy Policy, constitute the full agreement between you and Travelooms. Contact us at [email protected] to resolve issues first. 
  • Severability: If any provision is invalid, the remaining Terms remain enforceable.
